AWF, eBay Charity Of The Week Proves Big Success – Nearly £10,000 Raised And Counting

The Amy Winehouse Foundation’s stint as eBay’s Charity of the Week proved to be a big success, with over £3,000 being raised through online sales of AWF merchandise alone.

For the first time, fans and followers of the Foundation were able to buy official products, including pin badges and t-shirts.

Exclusively signed copies of Mitch Winehouse’s book Amy, My Daughter, were also available as part of an online auction.

In total £3,474.50 has so far been raised, with the final figure from donations made from other sales yet to be announced.

To cap off a marvellous week for the Foundation, over £6,000 was raised via eBay’s check out feature.

The Foundation thanks everyone who contributed to make the week such a great success, from those who took part in the sale to those who made donations from Mission Fish.

About the Amy Winehouse Foundation

In Amy’s memory, we work to inspire children and young people to build their self-esteem and resilience, so that they can flourish.

Our work is inspired by Amy’s spirit, her love of children and the challenges that she faced in her own life.

Today, the Amy Winehouse Foundation helps thousands of young people to feel supported and informed so that they are better able to manage their emotional wellbeing and make informed choices around things that can affect their lives.

We’re able to do this because of the support we receive from people like you. Anyone who believes in young people can become a part of our work and Amy’s legacy. By supporting our work, you will help them to transform their lives, flourish and be heard.
