Amy’s Yard Graduation

Last week saw the first ever Amy’s Yard Graduation take place at The Crowne Plaza London – The City Hotel, proud supporters of the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Here nine of our graduates were presented AQA certificates by our Patron and President of Island Records, Darcus Beese OBE.
It was a lovely evening of celebration and a chance for Master Class facilitators and supporters alike to join the participants who worked so hard throughout their programme and acknowledge their achievements.
Throughout the programme participants not only develop their artist development but they also develop their transferable skills, preparing them for any number of life opportunities – building their skills and confidence.
We are now interviewing for the next round of Amy’s Yard and are very excited about working with another group of talented young artists and individuals.

About the Amy Winehouse Foundation

In Amy’s memory, we work to inspire children and young people to build their self-esteem and resilience, so that they can flourish.

Our work is inspired by Amy’s spirit, her love of children and the challenges that she faced in her own life.

Today, the Amy Winehouse Foundation helps thousands of young people to feel supported and informed so that they are better able to manage their emotional wellbeing and make informed choices around things that can affect their lives.

We’re able to do this because of the support we receive from people like you. Anyone who believes in young people can become a part of our work and Amy’s legacy. By supporting our work, you will help them to transform their lives, flourish and be heard.
