The iconic fashion brand Fred Perry has announced that it will be teaming up with Central Saint Martins to design a new range of clothes for the Amy Winehouse Foundation Collection.
One hundred and fifty students from the prestigious college’s Foundation Course (Fashion & Textiles pathway) will be invited to take part in a subculture themed research project.
Both a Fred Perry shirt and bowling shirt are to be designed, which will then complement the in-house designs that form the Collection.
Three winning entries will be chosen, with the Fred Perry design team specifically looking for designs that capture the ethos and personality of the brand.
As well as winning a monetary prize, the chosen students will also get to work closely with the design and product development teams, and ultimately see their items manufactured and distributed around the world in all Fred Perry stores as well as selected retailers.
