When I Walk In Your Shoes

‘When I Walk in Your Shoes¹ is an exhibition curated by Amy Winehouse¹s tattoo artist and friend, Henry Hate. A visual artist in his own right, Henry has called upon an array of the most exciting current artists to contribute towards this celebration of Amy. The artwork will reflect the uniqueness of Amy in a colourful array, over a 2000 square foot space.
The show is named after the first verse of Amy Winehouse’s song ‘Help Yourself’. The art catalogue will feature quotes of walking in someone else¹s shoes from the exhibiting artists.
All contributing artists can submit up to 3 pieces;
  • An Amy inspired piece based on her music, and or likeness, and the influence she had on music
  • A plinth or wall display piece incorporating Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers
  • A piece of original art of the artists choice which compliments the exhibition and its theme
All proceeds raised from the sale of Amy inspired and Converse pieces will go to the Foundation.
The exhibition will run from 26th September- 1st October and will take place at the Westbank Gallery, 133-137 Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill, London W11 2RS.

About the Amy Winehouse Foundation

In Amy’s memory, we work to inspire children and young people to build their self-esteem and resilience, so that they can flourish.

Our work is inspired by Amy’s spirit, her love of children and the challenges that she faced in her own life.

Today, the Amy Winehouse Foundation helps thousands of young people to feel supported and informed so that they are better able to manage their emotional wellbeing and make informed choices around things that can affect their lives.

We’re able to do this because of the support we receive from people like you. Anyone who believes in young people can become a part of our work and Amy’s legacy. By supporting our work, you will help them to transform their lives, flourish and be heard.
